What are Carbon Credits?

If you cause the release of 1 tonne of carbon dioxide during whatever activities you or your organisation engage in, to compensate for that, you can prevent another tonne being produced elsewhere. This process is called carbon offsetting; when you can’t avoid emitting CO2 but you can help some other entity avoid doing so.

Start by measuring and reducing your emissions. Where emissions remain, we can help you explore carbon credits and carbon removal projects that support additional climate action without replacing direct emissions reductions.
